Jenny Cook-Battersby

Jennifer works as a fulltime professional artist from her home Studio/Gallery in Taupo.

Despite not following the traditional Art School route into her profession, formal tuition and
workshops have helped develop her style which is best decribed as contemporary Realism.

Working mostly in Oil and Acrylic her pieces are visual recordings of the places visited and events that have inspired her. Kiwi in essence, there is a distinctive, vibrant, style to her work which ranges from studies of native flora and funa to landscapes that you only leave reluctantly.
This is art to live with, capable of transporting the viewer while instilling a sense of positive tranquillity.

Jenny Exhibits regularly throughout New Zealand in group Exhibitions and has held solo exhibitions. Jenny has work in Private and Corporate Collections throughout New Zealand and Overseas.
