Tobi Dante
Tobi Dante is obsessed with faces and languages. This resulting in contemporary portraits, painstakingly composed of tiny words, phrases and statements. These are all painted words, using various languages. Each painting tells a story.
Dante is strongly influenced by Franz Kline’s striking black and white images and Jean Michel Basquiat’s eclectic writings.
Typography meets portraiture: Tobi’s work is fuelled by a passion to create unique aesthetic images.
